Cowboy Caleb

We took a real variety of pictures for this young man’s senior portraits. Check out the controlled burn we did to depict his budding career as a firefighter if you haven’t seen it yet. For this group of photos, we choose to show him with the animals he cares for on the family mini-farm. It amazes me how quickly he adapted to country life since when I first met the family only a few years before, they were city folk, but as you can see from these senior pictures, he’s a county boy now.

In addition to being an Eagle Scout, volunteer firefighter, and studying to be an EMT, this young man likes to hunt, so we set up some lights at the pond near his house and captured this aspect of his personality.
Controlled Burn

Sometimes a Senior comes to you who has an interest in something that just HAS to be photographed. This young man is a volunteer firefighter, as is his dad (lighting the fire below). So we did a controlled burn on their property and I brought my big battery powered light along with some regular flashes and lit it “just so”. No “faking it”in the studio with a green screen and photoshop (though some shoots do require that). These pics are SOOC (straight out of camera). Everyone involved was excited about the results.
What cool idea for a photo do you have that I can help make happen?
