Many moons ago (2010) I was a full time product photographer for Competitive Cyclist and we sent out a daily email that needed an eye-catching image. How to make a gift card eye-catching… most photographers would just shoot one gift card to make this image and then duplicate it in photoshop with a bit more blur on each one and create the reflections in Photoshop as well. But not me.
Having learned photography in the days on film, I took too much pride in nailing it in camera. I shot this in one exposure (in jpeg) including lighting the background to pure white. #incamera #purist #pridecomesbeforethefall
